LONDON, 19 October 2026 – Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team drivers, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, kick up some dirt in INEOS Grenadier 4X4s ahead of the Formula 1 MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix 2026 in Austin, Texas – and pull in to a pit stop like no other.

As part of a wider marketing campaign inviting customers to ‘Make Grenadier Your Own’, Russell and Antonelli are filmed taking a detour from the tarmac, and pulling their INEOS Grenadiers into a ‘Grit Stop’. A Grenadier pit crew feverishly sets to work fitting accessories, camping kit and customised enhancements.

Once released from the 'Grit Stop', the pair head for the hills, putting the Grenadier’s award-winning off-road capabilities to the test. After enjoying a spirited drive on mountain tracks and forest trails, the pair stop for a break and discover a couple of unique vehicle features that reflect their own individual passions.

The tongue-in-cheek ‘Grit Stop’ film highlights how the Grenadier can be customised to suit every buyer’s specific needs, preferences and character, unlocking the opportunity to experience the outdoors in a way that’s personal to them. Customers can ‘Make Grenadier Your Own’ with the configurator on the brand’s website here.

“The INEOS Grenadier is built for more, designed to give owners the freedom to customise their vehicle to fit whatever their ‘more’ may be. With a dash of humour and the two hottest drivers in Formula 1, the ‘Grit Stop' film shows that customisation possibilities are endless. We hope it inspires everyone watching to kit out their own Grenadier.”
