INEOS AUTOMOTIVE ADDS MARCEL GUAY AS HEAD OF CANADA

  • Marcel Guay takes newly created role as Head of Canada
  • Appointment further strengthens INEOS Automotive's North American leadership

Montvale, NJ, April 14, 2025 – INEOS Automotive has strengthened its North American leadership team with the appointment of Marcel Guay as Head of Canada. He will be based in Toronto.

The Grenadier SUV spearheaded the brand’s launch in the region last year, and the Quartermaster double-cab pick-up will begin deliveries this month, with further additions to the product line-up in the pipeline.

After launching in the U.S, Canada and Mexico over the last 18 months, INEOS’s presence in the region continues to grow across the northern border with new dealerships in Toronto and Vancouver.  North America quickly established itself as the brand’s largest market, accounting for more than 60% of global sales.  It is represented by a rapidly growing dealer network, which is set to expand to 40 sites across the US and Canada by the end of the year.

Marcel joined INEOS Automotive in March and brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and product development experience from the automotive and aerospace industries to the role.   His automotive experience includes roles as Network Development Manager for Porsche Canada, Country Manager for Maserati Canada and seven years of sales and marketing experience at Nissan Motor Corporation. He began his career at Bombardier Aerospace in Montreal.

Marcel’s broad experience and track record of success in the Canadian marketplace will be invaluable to us as we grow in North AmericaWe are an exciting new brand, and his expertise and insights are exactly what we need to take the business in the Great White North to new heights.

Gregor Hembrough - Executive Vice President, INEOS Automotive

I’m an avid road cyclist and my first exposure to the brand was following the talented INEOS Grenadiers cycling team. When I started researching the automotive business, I was equally impressed. I want to help drive the brand forward and deliver on its full potential in Canada, by expanding the retail network, enhancing our commercial operations, and developing truly innovative marketing campaigns that appeal to the Canadian consumer.

Marcel Guay - Head of Canada, INEOS Automotive

This appointment is part of a continued strategic strengthening of INEOS Automotive’s North American executive leadership teams. In August 2024, George Ratcliffe became President of the Americas and in November 2024, Gregor Hembrough joined as Executive Vice President of the Americas.
