- Gregor Hembrough becomes Executive Vice President of Americas region
- New appointment further strengthens INEOS Automotive’s leadership in the Americas
- Gregor’s broad experience, impressive track record of success and deep insight of the Americas region will be invaluable to us realizing our growth ambitions here,” said George Ratcliffe, President of the Americas, INEOS Automotive. “As a new challenger brand, his expertise and out-of-the-box approach is exactly what we need to take the business in the Americas to new heights.”
London, Nov. 6, 2024 – INEOS Automotive has strengthened its North America leadership team with the appointment of Gregor Hembrough as Executive Vice President of Americas region. Gregor Hembrough joined INEOS Automotive on November 4. He brings over 30 years of international sales, marketing and product development experience gained in the U.S. and Europe with established and start-up car makers.
Hembrough joins INEOS at an important moment for the young company. After launching in the U.S. and Canada over the last 18 months, its presence in the region continues grow. The company’s dealer network is expanding and its entry into the Mexican market is currently underway. The Grenadier station wagon spearheaded the brand’s launch in the region last year, and the Quartermaster double-cab pick-up will launch early in 2025, with further additions to the product line-up in the pipeline.
This appointment is part of a strategic strengthening of INEOS Automotive’s regional and global executive leadership teams. In August, Mike Whittington was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer with accountability for all global and regional commercial operations, and George Ratcliffe became President of the Americas. Hembrough will work closely with both as part of a significantly strengthened senior team.
“Gregor’s broad experience, track record of success and deep insight of the Americas region will be invaluable to us realizing our growth ambitions here,” said George Ratcliffe, President of the Americas, INEOS Automotive. “We are a new challenger brand, and his expertise and out-of-the-box approach is exactly what we need to take the business in the Americas to new heights."
"To join a company that’s truly unique in the automotive sector is a very special opportunity,” said Hembrough. “What INEOS has already achieved with the Grenadier in this region is impressive, but I’m excited to help drive the brand forward and deliver on its full potential, through expanding the retail network, enhancing our commercial operations, and developing truly innovative marketing campaigns.”
