INEOS AUTOMOTIVE BEGINS PRODUCTION OF QUARTERMASTER DOUBLE CAB PICK-UP FOR NORTH AMERICA
- The first INEOS Grenadier Quartermasters for the US and Canada have started rolling off the Hambach production line
- First keys set to be in customer hands before the end of Q1
- Lynn Calder, CEO INEOS Automotive says "The Grenadier has had an incredible reception in North America, and we're confident the Quartermaster will continue to build on that success. Its combination of world class off-road ability, load-lugging versatility and daily refinement means it will cope with the toughest conditions but still be a great drive on the highway."
Ridgewood NJ, 27 January 2025 – The first series production INEOS Grenadier Quartermasters for North America have started rolling off INEOS Automotive’s production line in Hambach, France. Leading the North American-bound pick-ups was a Fieldmaster in Inky Black with Rough Pack destined for Texas.
Aptly named after the senior military officer responsible for the management of barracks and the supply and distribution of provisions, the five-seat Quartermaster double cab pick-up is the largest model in the Grenadier line-up. The Quartermaster’s robust and rigid box-section ladder frame chassis is 12-inches longer than that of the Station Wagon, ensuring it can carry five people and their bulkiest of loads. Order books for the premium double cab pick-up opened in early April 2024 for US customers, and in May 2024 for Canadian buyers, with pricing starting from US$86,900 in the US and CA$96,695 in Canada.
“The start of Quartermaster production for our US and Canadiancustomers at our Hambach plant is yet another key moment for INEOS Automotive,” says Lynn Calder, CEO INEOS Automotive.“The Grenadier has had an incredible reception in North America, and we’re confident the Quartermaster will continue to build on that success. Its combination of world class off-road ability, load-lugging versatility and daily refinement means it will cope with the toughest conditions but still be a great drive on the highway. A true enabler for freedom and outdoors adventure.”
Customer deliveries of the company’s first model, the INEOS Grenadier Station Wagon, started in late November 2023. Total sales to date have seen a second shift added at the state-of-the-art Hambach factory, with remaining orders accounting for more than six months of North America’s production allocation. When pre-orders for the region opened in May 2023, it took just one week for it to overtake the rest of the company’s markets, as its most successful region for orders.
