INEOS AUTOMOTIVE POSTS RECORD SALES SUCCESS IN Q1 2026
- Sales for the Grenadier and Quartermaster product lines hit new record for Q1 2026
- Significant fleet orders from emergency services, utilities, rental and defence and security contribute to major sales growth
LONDON, 13 April 2026 – INEOS Automotive received a record number of orders for its Grenadier 4X4 in Q1 2026, up 20% on the same period last year, as sustained strong retail sales are accompanied by an increase in significant new fleet supply agreements.
After three full years in production, multiple award wins and more than 35,000 vehicles delivered around the world, primarily to retail customers, interest and enquiries from fleets have significantly grown over the past six months and continue to accelerate. Orders from corporate, non-profit and public service fleets have been a key part of INEOS Automotive’s long-term strategy from its earliest days. The record success follows the positive reception of the latest model-year and Black Edition from media and customers.
“In the face of geopolitical challenges affecting the auto industry globally since we launched three years ago to this day, we've remained agile and relentlessly resiliant. The steps we've taken to maintain our positive trajectory are bearing fruit.”
Lynn Calder - CEO, INEOS Automotive
Fleet orders in Q1 2026 came from all four corners of the globe and from a wide variety of organisations with different use cases. Examples include the Kenyan Red Cross, Hertz rent-a-car in the North America, and fire and rescue services in Germany, Spain and France.
“The Grenadier has proven itself as a highly capable, durable and reliable 4X4. Not only is that continuing to appeal to new retail buyers around the world, but fleets – which are always cautious about new manufacturers – now have the confidence to start placing big orders.”
Mike Whittington - Chief Commercial Officer, INEOS Automotive
The INEOS Grenadier is now on sale in 50 global markets across North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, China and Australia. Used as workhorses, adventure vehicles and as daily family transport, it has proven reliable, durable and peerlessly capable across a vast range of use cases.
