INEOS GRENADIER QUARTERMASTER PROVES ITS PULLING POWER IN TOWCAR OF THE YEAR AWARDS
- Grenadier Quartermaster hasbeen named Pick-Up Towcar of the Year by the Caravan and Motorhome Club
- Judges praised the Quartermaster for being “unapologetically built for hard work and adventure"
LONDON, 30 September 2026 – The Grenadier Quartermaster has been crowned Pick-Up Towcar of the Year in 2027 Caravan and Motorhome Club awards, once again proving its supreme towing and kit-carrying capability.
The Caravan and Motorhome Club Towcar of the Year awards are the leisure vehicle industry’s original and longest-standing towcar testing awards programme. This year, 42 entrants were put through a rigourous week-long testing regime at the world-class UTAC Millbrook Proving Ground testing facility in Bedfordshire. Vehicles entered must be capable of towing a trailer weighing 750kg or more – the Quartermaster has a maximum braked towing capacity of up to 3,500kg.
The assessment considers the practical aspects of using a vehicle for touring, including boot capacity, towball height, towing information and the ability to accommodate equipment commonly carried on a caravan holiday. Caravans are weighted to 85% of the vehicle’s kerbweight and put through braking and acceleration tests using specialist equipment to measure performance. The Quartermaster took on the highest-weight caravan category, towing more than 2,000kg.
“The INEOS is unapologetically built for hard work and adventure – its large load bed, full-size spare wheel, huge 350kg noseweight allowance and extraordinary roof-load capability underline that point. There's no doubting that if you want a tough pick-up that can tow supremely, the Quartermaster is unmatched."

“The Caravan and Motorhome Club Awards is the benchmark towing assessment in the leisure industry. Whether carrying kit for family trips or tackling challenging expeditions with a roof-tent, the Quartermaster can be relied upon for life’s best adventures.”
