INEOS GRENADIER RETAINS OFF-ROAD SUV OF TEXAS CROWN AS BRAND CONTINUES TO EXPAND US FOOTPRINT
- INEOS Grenadier recognised by the Texas Auto Writers for the second year running
- Awards success follows record quarter with orders up 20% year-over-year
NEW JERSEY, 13 May 2026 – The INEOS Grenadier Station Wagon has been crowned the Texas Auto Writers Association’s (TAWA) Off-Road SUV of Texas for the second year running. The success follows intensive testing by journalists at the latest TAWA Texas Truck Rodeo event, held last fall at the Eagles Canyon Raceway off-road course in Decatur, Texas.
This latest accolade for the rugged 4X4 comes as its popularity in the United States reaches new heights. The 15,000th Grenadier is due to be delivered Stateside this month, with the market accounting for 60% of global sales since North American deliveries commenced in 2024. In Q1, orders were up 20% year-over-year, with plans to grow annual sales in the region by up to 35%.
As demand continues to accelerate, the brand is rapidly expanding its retail and service footprint across the US, Canada and Mexico, with close to 50 locations by the end of the year, growing from almost 40 across the region today.
"Texas is one of the most demanding and competitive markets for a vehicle like ours, so to win this award from such esteemed judges, for the second consecutive year, is testament to the Grenadier’s purposeful engineering and uncompromising performance. Following a record quarter for global sales, we are continuing to invest in our retail network, to ensure more customers across the United States can enjoy the full Grenadier ownership experience, supported by comprehensive sales and aftersales service.”
George Ratcliffe - President of the Americas, INEOS Automotive
